Meet n Greet

Seattle, WA
I guess this is the area for the meet n greet. Hello and welcome, Friends, Family and Strangers. We’ll see how this whole blogging thing goes, as of now there are no real outlines for it--I'm thinking I'll take a Freudian approach and let my subconscious do the writing. I guess I'm here 'cause, well, I just like to write. I also like to take pictures, doodle, sketch, write long lists and share the strange things I find on the interweb. Some applaud my humble exploration, while others... well don't. I'm a little disheveled in my abstractions and narrations, but I can be interesting sometimes, too. I don't really care, but now that you have entered my world, you are now a part of the judging jury. This is an outlet for my musings. Nonlinear and no editing. Enjoy.

admiration

How would you react if you had a disease that took over your life? Determined how you live down to what you ate and where you lived. Determined your energy levels, your travel plans, your sleeping patterns and wellness of life...

How would you react if your home is what makes you sick, that you're favorite place on earth is too high of an altitude for you to go to. That your passion for horses had to take a back burner because it made you sicker.

What if a disease ruled every decision you made? What if you planned on going to Italy for the past 2 years and when you finally do feel well enough, the doctor says NO.

Tears? Tantrums? Bitterness? Hostility?

Not my roommate.

She smiles and says she's sorry and feels horrible for letting ME down.

No complaint. No tears.

NOTHING but
A smile which slowly turns into a laugh.
which turns into "how are you today?"

What a light she is in my life. I admire her so much.

Words can not explain. Her spirit is something I could only wish for...

I just read this and wanted to say AMEN! Katie is awesome, and I'm so glad you two are roommates. :)
